I've also decided to begin sharing some of them on Thursdays here on the blog again. While I reflect on my blessings daily, sometimes in the evening and most every morning, sharing them once a week is an opportunity to revisit.
In the Old Testament, God repeatedly instructs His people to remember what He has done for them. Tie them on your fingers as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Proverbs 7:3 NLT
Best I can tell, I've been keeping them deep within my heart and haven't posted them since January. Time for that to change. Instead of posting my typical one per 10 listed, I'm going to go with one per page since I have over 700 to catch up on!

Now that I've shared, I want to celebrate with you. What are a few things you are thankful for today? This week? This year?
So much to be thankful for! I'm thankful that I have a 3 day weekend and am having Alaina overnight tomorrow. And I'm thankful for something else that's pretty big, but you'll have to wait until I have the ok to post it!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful that I am making the effort to be as healthy as I can be when I turn 60 in December. I am also thankful for my wonderful husband. We've been together 43 years and I can't imagine not being with him. I love that man so much. Would you like me to keep going?
ReplyDeleteI need to get this book and implement it. I think it will keep my attitude in check ;)
ReplyDeleteI need to get back to recording these things, too...I am thankful for my friends' baby boy, finding a gently used couch for upstairs (from a neighbor for super cheap!), my middle school friend finding me on facebook, and my first godly role model (my pastor's wife when I was born -- like a grandma to me) mentioning me on facebook as someone with a positive outlook! :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have been having issues posting comments tonight. I hope you haven't received emails every time I've tried to post something. If so, I'm sorry!
