The domain name originated as a joke between my darling love and myself. His clients often become friends, and when they are in town extend a dinner invitation to us. I've always called this playing "trophy wife." My mom always said I had the personality to be a politicians wife; I suppose a salesman's wife is pretty darn close!
Having said that, I'm not sure how many trophy wives work full time jobs, clean their own houses, and pride themselves on being a frugalista, but this one certain does.
I do my best to follow Christ, but often fail miserably. The "Christian living" posts you'll find on this blog are almost always of the stumbling through the journey variety. I'm often lukewarm and resemble the Pharisees, but I'm still hopeful. His strength is made perfect in my weakness, and that's a good thing because I seem to have an abundance of it.
I'm lazy, yet am seemingly always training for my next race. I've got quite a few 5Ks, a couple of 8K & 10Ks, 18 half marathons, 4 {running} marathons, 2 {walking} marathons, and a couple of sprint triathlons under my racing belt.
