Light the Night

This Thursday, my family be walking with Team Zach during the Leukemia & Lymphoma "Light the Night" walk to support those who are battling the disease.  Zach, my 19 year old cousin, is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments to fight Lymphoma.

I'm not good at fundraising.  It makes me feel a bit like Oliver:

BUT I do want to show my support.  Thanks to my twitter and facebook friends, I'm only $15 from my goal.  I'll happily donate the rest in order to put myself over the top.

If you can, I'd love to help my mother to reach the $100 fundraising goal as well.  I know money is tight and everyone seems to have a cause these days, this one is just dear to my heart.  If you have a few bucks to spare, I'd appreciate a donation.

More important than money, though, is prayer.  Prayer for my cousin's healing, his doctor, his parents & siblings.  Since the price for direct communication with God has already been paid by Jesus, you've got no excuse to let me down!

  1. Good for you! I wish I could help out your Mom, but I've already got several fundraiser requests here. I will pray though - you're right - no excuses!
