Book Review - Fire Prophet

My most recent book review was book 2 in the Sons of Angels series, Fire Prophet.  (I also reviewed book 1 in the series, Spirit Fighter).  The series follows siblings Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah Stone on adventures in the spiritual realm.  The trio are quarterlings, 1/4 angel & 3/4 human.  Their maternal grandfather was a fallen angel.

In Fire Prophet, the children are united with other quarterlings and hidden in a convent to protect them from the spiritual warfare going on around them.  As the story progresses, the children realize the gifts they are learning in angel school will be needed sooner rather than later.

I have very much enjoyed reading these stories.  The characters are flawed, yet somehow find a way to rely on Elohim for their needs.  While directed at a younger audience, adults are able to enjoy the store as well.  Since I have no children of my own, I cannot speak to the age-appropriateness of the book for younger children.

Bottom line: Read it!

I review for BookSneeze®

  1. Jen @ I Believe in Love reviewed this not too long ago, and I thought about getting the series for my kids. I remember her saying that it would be good for my tween & teenager, but I have no idea about younger kids. Now that I've heard of this twice, I suppose I'll just HAVE to get them! :)
